Ways of getting to Moscow


Moscow is the central Russian city, where tourists can get both by plane or by train. The city has visitors who travel to Moscow not only from different parts of Russia, but also from Europe and from other countries.There are several main train stations, which welcome tourists from St. Petersburg, Siberia, Central Asia, Southern Russia, Europe and Baltic States.

There are five main airports in the city, two of which handle domestic flights, the others international flights to Moscow and from it. Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo are the biggest and main airports handling international flights. Both airports have a well-developed infrastructure and offer various kinds of services, including large opportunities for business meetings and conferences.

Railway system is well developed in Moscow as the city is the art of the world’s longest railway system, which is the Trans-Siberia Railway. Moscow has several railway stations from where Russian trains are taking the tourists to different parts of the country. The main terminals are Belorussky, Savoylovsky, Rizhsky, Leningradsky, Yaroslavsky, Kazansky, Kursky, Paveletsky and Kievsky.
